Growing up I use to always hear don't put all your eggs in one basket and would respond ok nonchalantly. Now I apply it to everyday life. Investment, banking, job selection, school, my outfit choice, where I want to eat. The list goes on and on. I said all this to say use this motto and you will go a long way.

When I got into investment I didn't know what the hell I was doing but I did it. I looked up every finance blog and YouTube video in hopes of learning what I didn't know. I started with stockpile and stash because I didn't have much and didn't wanna gamble with the little I had. I opened two accounts because I wanted to see which one worked best for me. Turns out it was Stash. It's user friendly and self explanatory. Stash's education section is informative and breaks down the subject matter in a simple way. Fast forward to today my investment objective changed. I now do dividend (a sum of money paid regularly (typically quarterly) by a company to its shareholders out of its profits (or reserves)) investing. I look for stocks that generate dividends. Number 1 rule of investment is diversity leading us back to the famous quote of not putting all your eggs in one basket. Life is a gamble and you never know the hand that is being dealt so be strategic in the process.

If you don't know what your doing. Research the subject matter in question. For instance, if you wish to begin investing in stocks. Look up YouTube videos or podcast about investing in stocks, understand what's a ticker symbol and how to create a watchlist. If your on Instagram follow @wall_street_trapper and @girlsonthemoney to gain further insight on stocks. Strategize as needed but don't put all those eggs in one basket like I said. This will set you up for life. Its just like having a credit card just because you have the limit doesn't mean you max it out cause eventually you have to pay it back. So sis conquer what you want but also come up with plan A.B,C, D, E. Expect the probabilities of the outcome. Its 26 letters in the alphabet use them.
